Craft Quality Poultry is the digital home of a working family farm in Lethbridge County, Alberta. This website showcases what we raise and make — fresh quail eggs and authentic quail, chicken, and duck balut — alongside a growing collection of kitchen-tested quail egg recipes, and an interactive map of the independent grocers and supermarkets across Western Canada where our products are stocked.
It is built for three kinds of visitors. Home cooks and food lovers use it to find recipe inspiration and locate fresh quail eggs near them. Chefs and specialty retailers use it to connect with a consistent, locally raised supplier. And shoppers searching for authentic balut — from Lethbridge and Calgary to Edmonton, Vancouver, and Winnipeg — use it to find the nearest store that carries ours.
Behind the site is a single family. In the fall of 2023, John, Sharon, and their five children began with a few chickens and quail on their farm outside Lethbridge. Today, they operate an SFCR-licensed facility serving Alberta's wholesale fresh quail egg market and the balut market across Canada — still family-owned, still grounded in ethical care for every bird.
